Craft Day!

Me and some of the girls decided we needed to have a craft day! It was fun to do something different to break up the daily routine of our lives out here. We made 'topiaries'? I have no idea how to spell it. It was actually pretty easy and I thought they turned out really cute. We all did really different styles so it was fun to see the different possibilities! I would definately recommend this as a fun home activity! The beginning.....
Mine and Sara's final outcome! She did vines with oranges, it turned out super cute.

My finished product- I think I might put a creme bow or something on it. What do ya think? (notice the TV in the back... ... Jonny's UFC fights)

Jonny brought me home flowers the other day. Isn't he sweet?! He supported some guy on the streets in the hood who was selling them. Even better :)

Date night

I haven't updated in a while- but we really haven't had anything exciting happen lately. Its just work, work, work! Jonny is doing awesome this summer. He is 11th in the whole company right now. It amazes me how motivated and driven he is. When he wants something, he really sticks to it.
We really miss Utah, but feel blessed to even have this experience. Its fun to be together with each other and experience this new place. We've made a lot of new friends, and have also enjoyed being with old friends from last summer. The guys work so hard that we don't have a lot of time to do a lot of sightseeing, but Saturday night has become our weekly date night. We usually just have enough energy to go to dinner and relax-but thats okay because there are so many good restaurants around our place.

These pictures are from Bennihana. Even though you stink when you leave, it sure is delicious!Tiana, Derek, Bies, Mandi, Me, and Jonny
(Tiana and Derek were in our San Diego office last summer- Mandi and Bies were in Chicago with us last fall. Mandi does the office manager work with me)

Sara, Cody, Tiana, Derek

We have made it downtown once :) We went to Navy Pier with our new friends Cody and Sara. Cody is the lead tech in our office. THey just got married about 3 months ago. We have a lot of fun with them and are glad they're here. Chicago is a gorgeous city. The lake is beautiful and I love the view of the skyline.
