Boomers

We went to a family fun park by our house called Boomers. We did the bumper boats (which no one ended up liking- due to the little kids in there and an old grandpa, who kept spraying water at all of us). No one wanted to get wet, but we kind of got bombarded. Then we rode the go-carts a few times, did the batting cages, played laser tag (I won!), and mini golf (I didn't win). It was a really fun night, and a really fun weekend.

4th of July

Ok, we had too many pictures so I wanted to add a slideshow. We had a super fun 4th of July. My brother and his friend Andy came down from Ventura to hang out with us. We went to the beach around noon. It was SO SO crowded. Jonny and Francis joined us after a day of selling sometime in the afternoon. It was kind of overcast all day, but cleared up a little in the late afternoon. There was so much to do there, they had all kinds of food vendors and people everywhere. We stood up to take a picture by the sunset and all of the sudden the fog rolled in. Within about 2 minutes we could hardly see anything! You can tell if you look at the series of pictures of jonny and I by the pier- you can see the fog getting thicker until you can't even see the pier. So we decided to keep on hanging out, hoping the fog would lift and we'd still be able to see the fireworks (they light them off the pier). But.... 9:00 came and we could sure hear the fireworks- but couldn't even see them light up the sky! It was kind of a funny story and we were all a little bummed, but we still had a great 4th!

Jordan's Visit

Jonny's little brother Jordan came to visit us for about a week. We had a lot of fun when he was here and did a lot of things! One night we pulled our matresses in the living room and had a big slumber party with jordan and jessica. It was a lot of fun and kind of made me feel like a kid again. The first night he was here we went to the San Diego Fair. My brother Nick was visiting us too- so it was one big party. We ate lots of junk food, played at the petting zoo, and went on a couple of crazy rides. Oh ya- and we squeezed all 6 of us into the ferris wheel. I thought it would be no big deal, but it was so packed. And then when we stopped at the top it was making all kinds of sounds like it was going to break. And we all thought we were going to die! But the little carny man didn't seem to worried about us screaming everytime we came around and he must have known what he was doing because somehow we survived!

Then one day Jordo, Jessica, and I went to the San Diego zoo. That place is HUGE, but it was really cool. I've always wanted to go there, so I was glad we went.
And of course a trip to San Diego wouldn't be complete without a Padres Game. After the game we went to Mission Beach and rode the roller coaster and played games. I loved Jordan's face in the picture on the roller coaster. (jonny likes to take pictures on the ride!) It was so much fun having Jordan here- we hope he had fun too!
